Timber Development
Since 1995 Live Crown Forestry Ltd. has been providing timber development and reconnaissance services to clients in industry and
government throughout northern and central British Columbia. Live Crown specializes in cable harvesting and steep slope terrain layout and design. Live Crown has an in-house Quality Assurance program that ensures the work completed in the field is accurately represented on the final maps. This is important to ensure there are no trespasses during logging operations or stoppages of work due to incorrect mapping of features in the field. Live Crown has highly knowledgeable and experienced timber cruising crews who ensure accurate data collection and timber appraisals. The Lead Timber Cruiser is a Registered Professional Forester with 22 years of experience who stays current with all timber cruising methodology, conducts Quality Control checks on the cruising in the field and reviews the cruise cards for completeness, errors and omissions.
